Winner of Our Last Challenge & Farewell

We would like to thank everyone who played in our last challenge - you all really made our very last challenge extra special with all of your entries.  The winner of the challenge is Virginia Montagna who entered so many times and each card was cuter than the last!   Virginia has been such a devoted player in our challenges, and we think it fitting that she be the final winner.  Since Squigglefly is now closed Virginia will be receiving three surprise images instead of the usual one of the winner's choice.

Squigglefly closed their doors Sarurday night, and we'd like to let you know that a couple of your favorite artists have already found new homes for their artwork.  Please look for images from Sandra Caldwell and Lynne Stansbery at Sweetpea Rubber Stamps soon!  Thank you for your patronage over the years!

We will not be closing the blog in case you ever want to come browse the wonderful cards our design team has made over the years for a little inspiration!  Print Happy!

Squigglefly Challenge #4, SFC0415 Put a little love in your Heart

Welcome to the Squigglefly Challenge Blog!

Hello everyone! Welcome to the Squigglefly Challenge! First let us congratulate our winner from last week's challenge.  The challenge last week was to create a card with a snowy theme.  The winner is Sarah P who created a lovely Shy Bear card using  Shy Bear Snowy Playmate from Lynne Stansbery.

This winner can please contact Holly at usyungs@gmail.com for your prize.
 ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
This week's challenge is SFC0415 Put a Little Love in Your Heart!

This week's challenge is called Put a Little Love in Your Heart!  To play you need to either have a heart shape on your card or use the word "love" somewhere on your card (or both)!  Your card does not have to be Valentine themed as long as you meet either requirement.  So show us your wonderful cards and as always, we'd love for you to use a Squigglefly image, to be prize eligible it's required, but everyone is welcome to play along.  Please come and play as this is the last official challenge for us!!  The winner on this challenge will be sent THREE surprise images from the store.

Be sure and go by the store and grab the stamps that you want as it will officially close on Feb 1st!

Let's start with some great examples from the Holley Hobbyists:

Pat Martin created this great valentine and uses both a heart (balloon) from her image and the word love in her card sentiment (as well as the background paper!)  This lovely image is Flyin' Foxy from artist Fawn Palmer.

Kecia Waters  created this fun card using a new image from artist Cheryl Alger.  I just love this polka dot card and the lovely sentiment added.  This fun stamp is Sally's Letter.  The actual image also includes a cute little bird, so click the link to see the entire image.

Elizabeth Hart made this adorable Valentine.  It's using a wonderful stamp from artist Sandra Caldwell called Bearly Lovely. Don't you love the gorgeous color combo.  Beautiful work Elizabeth.  She has both hearts in her image, heart embellishments as well as the word Love on her card!

Jen Leeflang created this adorable Valentine's Day card using a lovely image from artist Sandra Caldwell called Love My Puppy.  Don't you love the way she added dots around the image?  it really makes her dog stand out,  Gorgeous coloring!

Shell Becker created this gorgeous valentine with a beautiful image from artist Sandra Caldwell.  This lovely image is called Bearly Please me Mine.  Not only does her image have a heart in it, she also added beautiful heart embellishments and heart paper.  Gorgeous work Shell.

Shirley Quary made this beautiful heart theme card with a gorgeous image from artist Lynne Stansbery.  This wonderful image is called Pinky Swear.  Do you remember the last time you made a pinky promise to someone?  It comes with the sentiment shown plus two other sentiments!

And lastly, I (Holley Barnhart from Holley's Blog) have a fun square card using a great image from Sandra Caldwell. I have both a heart in my image as well as on my card plus the work love on a stitched tag (in black). This sweet image is called He Loves Me.

I hope these cards have inspired you to make a card to play along this week.  You are always welcome to play no matter what images you use, but to be eligible for the prize, please use at least one stamp from Squigglefly!

We realize that many people don't have blogs, but instead participate in our challenges using on-line galleries. We love that you are helping us spread the word about Squigglefly! However, many of the galleries require passwords and not all of us at Squigglefly belong to every gallery or group. To help us make sure we don't miss your artwork, we are asking that if you do use an online gallery that you leave us a comment on the challenge post. That way we'll be sure to have a member of the Squigglefly team who is a member of that gallery (SCS, CDAC, PCP, etc) can validate your entry.

1.) If you up-load your creation to any on-line photo galleries, please use SFC0415 for your keywords when loading your creation photo there. 1b) please leave a comment on the challenge blog post so that someone from Squigglefly can validate your entry for the prize.

2) You don't *have* to include a Squigglefly image on your creation, but in order to qualify for the prize you will need to use one! You can also combine SF images with non-SF images to qualify! Don't have one? There are several FREEBIES you can grab from the Squigglefly store, hop on over there. Those images will qualify you for the prize.

3) You have one week to complete the challenge and it will close Sunday evening. The winner will be announced at the same time the new challenge post comes up...so be sure to check back EVERY Monday to see if you are a winner!
